BIC & City of Hope Cancer Center: Partners in Hope

City of Hope Cancer Center has long been at the forefront of discovering powerful new ways to diagnose and treat cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Here, some of the world’s most knowledgeable physicians, researchers, scientists and health care professionals have joined forces with generous donors in an effort to not just treat — but one day cure — cancers that affect the lives of adults and children around the world. The National Office Products Industry (NOPI) continues to be a major force in supporting the research, treatment and education programs conducted at City of Hope. To date, our industry contributions have exceeded $31 million, making us one of City of Hope's premier industry support groups.

BIC has been a strong supporter of City of Hope for many years and is involved in a number of City of Hope fund-raising programs. BIC has been a longstanding participant of industry golf outings, the Spirit of Life® gala, Workplace Giving, as well as the percentage-of-sales cause marketing promotion called "Partners in Hope — Office Products Industry Fights Cancer."

Because of our ongoing efforts, BIC will again be honored by City of Hope as a leader of industry at its annual Spirit of Life gala, taking place in Chicago, IL. This year, the industry will present Chris Milliken of Boise Office Solutions with City of Hope’s highest accolade, The Spirit of Life Award.
